The warm sun and sand are waiting for you in Mexico!
From the white sand beaches of Cancun and Riviera Maya to the mountains of Puerto Vallarta and arid desert of Cabo San Lucas, you'll be sure to find the perfect Mexican vacation for you!

Mexico is safe for tourists who are not traveling along the border towns between the US and Mexico. The resort communities are safe!  The beautiful resorts of Mexico are typically in gated communities or have security to prevent non-guests from entering.  The tourist areas of Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo san Lucas are safe.  You can shop, dine and explore without any problems.

Top Mexican Resort Areas:
Cancun/Riviera Maya: With warm blue waters and white sandy beaches, you'll be sure to find the perfect resort for you.  Cancun is much more lively with lots of shopping, night clubs, movie theaters and activities going day and night.  Relax on the beaches during the day and party all night long.  Take an excursion through the lagoon and mangroves to a nice snorkeling spot, or take the ferry to Isla Mujures to spend the day away from the city.  Chichen Itza isn't too far of a drive and an amazing Mayan site to see.  The Riviera Maya area is much more relaxed, with smaller communities like Puerto Aventuras, Playa del Carmen and Akumal in between resorts.  Great for families as it is less rowdy than Cancun can be and romantic for honeymooner's or couples looking to getaway from it all, check out the adults-only resorts!  Easy visits to Tulum or Coba for Mayan experiences, great snorkeling and eco-parks are fun excursions when staying in the Riviera Maya area.

Cozumel: The small island located off the coast of the Riviera Maya, easily access by ferry from Playa del Carmen, or you can fly right into the island (non stop seasonally from Denver).  Cozumel has white sand beaches and great snorkel and diving opportunities.  Resorts range from near the town of San Miguel to 40 minutes outside of town on the southern coast.  Rent a moped and roam the island, exploring the "other side" of Cozumel: a wild, resort-free coast line of powder soft beaches (not great for swimming!).

Puerto Vallarta: Located on Bandaras Bay on the Pacific side of Mexico: where the Sierra Madre's mountains meet the sea.  Stay in the "Hotel Zone" or the "Marina Zone" to be closer to historic downtown Puerto Vallarta, or get out of town and stay in the "Riviera Nayarit" area where long stretches of golden beaches await you.  Stroll the downtown Malecon area and shop, visit art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and local markets.  A great place to buy local pieces of art.  There are also great excursions into the Sierra Madre's, visit tequila factories, take a snorkel excursion or take a catamaran tour of the bay that is chock full of marine life: dolphins, manta rays, fish of all varieties and whale watch December-March.

Cabo san Lucas: Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula where the ocean meets the Gulf of California are the resort communities of Cabo san Lucas.  There are three areas you can stay: Cabo san Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the area in between, the Corridor.  Cabo san Lucas is known more for it's night life and shopping.  Cruise ships also come into this area as well.  San Jose del Cabo is more relaxed and laid-back.  The 20 mile stretch known as the Corridor holds more luxury resorts and great golfing.  Excursions to Land's End where you'll see the famous Arch, ATV desert tours, golfing and so much more!

There are several all inclusive resorts where all your drinks, meals, snacks, non-motorized water sports and tips are included!  You wouldn't have to leave your resort if you did not want to!  From family-friendly resorts to adult only resorts, there is the perfect beach location for you!

Say Hola! to Mexico and re-discover the warm beaches and friendly people!
